Slot Booking Information

Children will be able to be booked in for two hour slots

Ages

The creche will be provided for children aged 3-11

Responsibility 

The creche committee request that children remain the responsibility of their parents/carers throughout the convention including whilst in the creche.

Food and Allergen Information

Due to allergens the creche will not be providing food or snacks 

Please ensure that if your children need food this is provided and clearly labelled.

Service and Supporting the Creche

We are looking for grateful servants to serve on the booking in desk throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Supervision and Responsibility

  • While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care, parents/guardians remain ultimately responsible for their child at all times.
  • Children must be signed in and out by designated parent or guardian.
  • Creche workers will not provide toileting or nappy-changing assistance.
  • Parents/Guardians must be contactable by telephone to collect their child to facilitate their toilet needs, this is not negotiable.
  • Parents/guardians must remain on the premises of the Hilton Hotel and be contactable by telephone.

Temporary Care Arrangements 

  • The childcare provided is a voluntary, temporary service offered by UKCNA.
  • It is not a registered childcare provider under UK childcare regulations and is not subject to OFSTED registration or inspection. 

Health and Safety

  • All reasonable precautions have been taken to provide a safe environment.
  • However, by using this service, you accept that accidents may happen and agree not to hold Narcotics Anonymous, its members, crèche workers or affiliated parties liable for any injury, accident, or incident that may occur. 

Medical Needs and Emergencies

  • Parents/Guardians must inform volunteers of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs.
  • In case of a medical emergency, crèche workers or volunteers will contact emergency services and parents/ guardians immediately.
  • We reserve the right to decline admittance if medical conditions and or allergies are too challenging for the creche to provided.
  • Parents/Guardians confirm that their child is in good health. 

Personal belongings

  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items brought into the crèche. 

Behaviour Policy

  • We reserve the right to request immediate collection of a child that is distressed or behaves in a way that is disruptive or unsafe to themselves or others. 

Data Protection (GDRP) 

  • Information collected (ie names and contact details) are used solely for the purpose of safeguarding children during the event and will be securely disposed of after the convention.
